Newells of Brigg Ltd consists of two separate quality food businesses: Waters & Son - a traditional family butcher - and Newells Delicatessen which opened in July 2005.
Waters is a traditional family butchers which supplies quality local Lincolnshire meats, sausages, pies, cakes and is also licensed to sell game. Meats can be jointed to your exact requirements. If an item is not on display we can make it up to order.
We have a wide range of delicious sausages including: Lincolnshire, old English (includes thyme and parsley), pork and leek, pork and apple, pork celery and stilton, plain pork, spicy Spanish, and lamb and rosemary (contains no pork). All sausages are made by hand on the premises.
There is a fine selection of burgers (beef, pork and lamb), kebabs and barbecue meats. In the festive season, we supply turkey, goose, duck and other festive speciality meats. Locally raised venison is available too.
Also well worth trying are local Lincolnshire specialities such as: haslet (cooked meat balls) and savoury ducks (meat balls made with added liver for extra flavour) - both of which make tasty sandwiches and go well with salad.
